The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP, www.unescap.org) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) hold the sixth Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum (APTFF) under the theme of "Trade Facilitation for Inclusive Development" to which Syntesa has been invited.

On May 7 – 9 2014, a MareFrame workshop was held in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands.

The aim of the workshop was to kick-start the development work of the interactive learning tool to be developed based on the MareFrame decision support framework. Representatives from the MareFrame partner institutions of University of Tromsø, NRC Europe, ICES, Syntesa and Tøkni participated in the workshop.

Successful Jobmatch 2013

Syntesa successfully coordinated the 5^th annual Jobmatch fair, setting records both in highest number of stands and amount of visitors to date.

There were 33 stands with Faroese companies and public institutions, increasing from 25 one year earlier. Moreover, there was an increase in visitors by 40% reaching more than 420.
