Launch of 'PrimeFish' project: Kick-off meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland

The kick-off meeting of the Horizon 2020 project PrimeFish was held on April 14th & 15th 2015 in Iceland at the offices of Matis, the co-ordinator of the project. The minister of Fisheries and Agriculture of Iceland, emphasized in his opening speech the key role of fisheries and aquaculture sectors in the European economy and highlighted the need of enhancement in the economic sustainability and competitiveness of this sector.

14 European institute and two international partner will collaborate for the next four years for developing innovative market orientated prediction toolbox to strengthen the economic sustainability and competitiveness of European seafood on local and global markets.
Syntesa will lead WP6; development of the decision support framework and system (PrimeDSF and PrimeDSS).
