Before moving to Spain, Hadis worked as an electrical engineer in a holding company active in electrical engineering, power distribution systems and also construction and maintenance of combined gas and steam power plants in Iran. She was a member of the project control team, and she was also involved in feasibility studies and international affairs. At the same time, she was a lecturer on microprocessor and computer architecture laboratory in undergraduate programs.
She started her PhD in electronic and biomedical instrumentation group in the UPC, Barcelona, focusing on unobtrusive and non-invasive measurement methods for vital sign monitoring. She was part of the development team of a home monitoring system for patients with severe depression for a European research project. She has extensive experience in electronic simulation, design and modelling software. She was a teacher assistant for the subject of biomedical instrumentation for undergraduate and master courses in UPC. Before joining Syntesa she was also involved in development of non-invasive and automatic systems for determining lean-fat distribution in pig carcasses, in-line fat analyser, quality classification and also dry-cured ham salting stage control.
