Dr Heiner Lehr will present two sessions: Agri-food supply chain efficiency and Trade Facilitation for Agricultural and Food Products
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP, www.unescap.org) and Asian Development Bank (ADB) hold the sixth Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum (APTFF) under the theme of "Trade Facilitation for Inclusive Development" to which Syntesa has been invited.
First session (25th, Enhancing agri-food supply chain efficiency and logistics) will discuss procedural and logistics requirements for efficient agri-food trade and introduce good practices from the region in developing logistics services for agricultural trade facilitation. Topics to be discussed include:
- Procedural difficulties at and behind borders in agricultural trade: findings from
Business Process Analysis (BPA) in the region
- Facilitating logistics services and infrastructure for trade in perishable goods

Second session (26th, Introduction to Trade Facilitation for Agricultural and Food Products) will be a workshop organized by the EU-funded project SATNET.
